To join a carpool or vanpool you have two options:

2) Sign up to become a member then click on Create a Carpool Ad (select 'Commuter Passenger seeking a ride' in Ad Type). When creating your Carpool Ad make sure you specify in detail your requirements and particulars so that carpool/vanpool drivers or service providers can find you and decide whether they can accommodate or not. 2) Sign up to become a member and post your offer by clicking on Create a Carpool Ad (select 'Driver offering a ride' in Ad Type). When creating your Carpool Offer Ad make sure to enter enough details so that would-be participants can easily find your offer when they search Carpool Offer Ads. Carpool/vanpool seekers will contact you and both parties will work out an arrangement. Ad-Carpool.com does not get involved in any way or form in your tractations.

An Ad has a lifespan of 6 months, after which period it will be de-activated, which means no longer viewable by other users. If you wish to extend the life of an Ad, you can go to Update My Trip Ads a few days BEFORE its expiry date and select YES in Ad Extension Date. The Ad's expiry date will then be set to ONE month from the day you extend it. If you want to keep your Ad active for a longer period, you have to repeat this operation before the end of its month-long life. At any given time you can re-activate an expired Ad or delete it completely from the system.
